It has been important to realize how researchers conduct their studies and report them in the various articles that we have been reading all the time without paying attention to all the important information that they include in their reports. I seldom paid attention to the importance of giving information on sampling in research report. Paying attention to those petty information now helps to determine whether the findings made in the research can be applied to what pertains in my school. I am now able to evaluate research works based on the way they are reported.
Knowing the difference between quantitative research and qualitative research has been a useful information if I need to embark on a personal research project. It tell me the number of participants to include in the project, the best way to select the participants, and the type of information to gather and how to report them. Again, this course has been a step towards the preparation for my final school project.
